Some folks say Youth is wasted on the Young, I say Enjoy life Like the Young. As a Young Single mother my mission was my children and working a job to support us. Take vacations to educate us all and for the fun of it. Not enough time to just sit back for hours and just enjoy the moment, always on a Mission.
Now in Retirement my Mission is to have a Purpose but  no Mission. Well except to Love what I Do. Whatever/Whenever/Wherever that is. :)

Sitting in my Likkle House by the side of the Road, I enjoy watching and feeling like part of a Community a Village doing my part to Watch over Our Children as they go on  to and from their daily Journey. Watch the bike taxi run back and forth and back and forth again and again taking their Precious Cargo to and from. Watch the dog play with her toys and then almost fall over her later as I go to do laundry, she loves her many cool spots for her naps. Watching the guys work and then watching the paint dry, the flowers and ackee tree grow, the Seasons change. Life is a Blast

Family Enjoy your life, Live it Like its Golden. Be Still and have Patience, because in Retirement Nothing should Change, Life should still be Lived. Tasted. Enjoyed. Savored. You Earned it.

Give Praise.

  1. Orbra, I so love your peaceful insights and am glad to see you updating your blog. We are not retired, too, but still are trying to get our children independent so we can sit back and relax, living in the moment with Purpose. You've expressed it wonderfully! Many blessings to you!
